About Calabasas, CA
Calabasas,CA is an affluent city in Los Angeles County, California in the western United States. Calabasas is often considered similar to its neighboring two communities to the east, Woodland Hills and Topanga, because of similar demographics, size, geography, and low-density general plans.
The city was formally incorporated in 1991. Prior to that the area was an unincorporated portion of Los Angeles County. The Leonis Adobe, an adobe structure in Old Town Calabasas, dates from 1844 and is one of the oldest buildings in the greater Los Angeles area. The City sponsors many annual events including: The Pumpkin Festival, Eggstravaganza, The Fine Arts Festival, and The Fourth of July Spectacular.
